Our client hospital is seeking a Rehab Manager for their out patient facility. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office /> <U>Qualifications</U>: The Manager of Rehab must hold a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology with two years of supervisory experience in a hospital therapy department. The Manager must have a current licensure as an PT, OTR/L or SLP. <U>Synopsis:</U> The Manager of Rehab must coordinate resources between facilities to ensure smooth operations and services. The individual must ensure appropriate equipment maintenance and plan for necessary replacements and upgrades. The Manger must ensure all of the staff members are qualified and complete performance appraisals in a timely manner. The Manager is also responsible for developing and monitoring the department budget by setting long-range objectives and ensuring cost effectiveness. The Manager must identify, recommend, and implement quality and performance improvement activities within the department and evaluate the effectiveness of performance improvement activities.
